Jamaica<\/p>\n

The Government of Jamaica has awarded 61 contracts to 34 companies valued at $27 billion dollars, for the procurement of approximately 1,820 essential drugs under the Pharmaceutical Awards Programme.<\/div>\n

Spanning from 2023-2026, Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton says the supplies are intended for both the preventative and curative aspects of non-communicable diseases.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The National Health Fund signed the contracts with the local and international suppliers at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston yesterday.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
LASCO Distributors Ltd. was awarded the largest contract at $3.86 billion, followed by Cari-Med Group with $3.69 billion and Facey Commodity Ltd., $3.52 billion dollars.<\/div>\n
