{"id":33971,"date":"2024-05-02T18:49:59","date_gmt":"2024-05-02T23:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projectcalls.com\/dev?p=33971"},"modified":"2024-05-02T18:58:00","modified_gmt":"2024-05-02T23:58:00","slug":"nidco-advises-public-to-beware-fraudulent-procurement-transactions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projectcalls.com\/dev\/nidco-advises-public-to-beware-fraudulent-procurement-transactions\/","title":{"rendered":"NIDCO advises public to beware fraudulent procurement transactions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trinidad and Tobago<\/p>\n<p>The National Infrastructure Development Company Limited (NIDCO) is warning the public to watch out for fraudulent procurement transactions.<\/p>\n<p>In a release, the company said is charged with the responsibility for carrying out the procurement of goods, services and works on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.<\/p>\n<p>To fulfil this mandate, NIDCO issues notices of tenders via its website and national newspapers, ensuring its procurement activities are executed in a transparent, ethical and effective manner.<\/p>\n<p>The public is advised of the following:<\/p>\n<p>1. The signing of contracts for NIDCO\u2019s projects only takes place in person within NIDCO\u2019s Offices, overseen by a representative from NIDCO\u2019s Legal Department. Therefore, the signing of any contract outside of NIDCO\u2019s offices is fraudulent and not authorised by NIDCO.<\/p>\n<p>2. The collection of cheques only takes place within NIDCO\u2019s Offices, overseen by a representative of NIDCO\u2019s Finance Department.
