\nTo monitor, coordinate and assist in the implementation of all
\nactivities related to Technical Corporation Projects by working
\nclosely with all the units within the Project Department, Implementing
\nAgencies and International Development Partners<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Administrative work plan for the programme developed
\n\u2022 Records and correspondence of all communication with other stakeholders maintained
\n\u2022 Terms of Reference for Consultants of the Programme developed
\n\u2022 Meeting schedule for internal and external meetings. Responsibility Areas
\n\u2022 Assist the Project Director to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Project Unit to ensure that targets are met
\n\u2022 Assist in the coordination of activities in all areas of the Project: Training, Public Education, Operations and Monitoring
\n\u2022 Work with the Procurement Specialist to source consultants for the Project as the need arises
\n\u2022 Develop Terms of references for short-term consultancies needed by theProject
\n\u2022 Arrange and attend meetings, seminars, study tour, symposiums and other events related to the project efforts
\n\u2022 Prepare briefs, articles, proposals, journals and other technical documents
\n\u2022 Work with the various units of the Project to prepare their budgets
\n\u2022 Liaise with representatives from the International Lending Agencies (World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank) on aspects of the Project
\n\u2022 Liaise with stakeholders such as Planning Institute of Jamaica, Ministries of Health and Education in order to ensure collaboration
\n\u2022 Ensure operational plans, quarterly review and input to budget are completed within established formats and timeframe to support the objective of the Project
\n\u2022 Ensure operational guidelines, policy and procedures are documented and current.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 First Degree in Arts or Social Sciences
\n\u2022 Training in International Relations
\n\u2022 At least two weeks project implementation experience<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Leadership skills
\n\u2022 Good oral and communication skills
\n\u2022 Ability to work without supervision
\n\u2022 Computer literate.<\/p>\n
