{"id":8118,"date":"2019-02-28T14:12:03","date_gmt":"2019-02-28T19:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projectcalls.com\/dev?p=8118"},"modified":"2019-02-28T14:12:03","modified_gmt":"2019-02-28T19:12:03","slug":"warmington-blasts-decision-to-let-petrojam-select-forensic-auditors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projectcalls.com\/dev\/warmington-blasts-decision-to-let-petrojam-select-forensic-auditors\/","title":{"rendered":"Warmington Blasts Decision To Let Petrojam Select Forensic Auditors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"allcaps\">A junior<\/span>\u00a0minister in the Andrew Holness administration yesterday sided with the parliamentary Opposition, suggesting that the management of the scandal-scarred state-owned oil refinery Petrojam should never have been given the responsibility to craft the terms of reference for the forensic audit into the $5.2 billion oil losses uncovered at the entity.<\/p>\n<p>Everald Warmington, state minister in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), stunned other lawmakers at yesterday\u2019s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament meeting when he declared \u201cit was totally illogical to have thought of this in the first place\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m being honest.
